URINE CHECK-ER Recognized for Excellence in Design at the 2024 Good Design Awards

On the 2nd, D&C Biotechnology announced that its next-generation personal urine analyzer, “URINE CHECK-ER,” has been selected as an outstanding product in the product design (living design) category at the prestigious “2024 Good Design (GD) Award,” Korea’s premier design award.

 

The “Good Design (GD) Award” is hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy and organized by the Korea Institute of Design Promotion. Since 1985, this annual award has comprehensively assessed products for their design, functionality, safety, and quality, granting the GD (Good Design) symbol to products recognized for excellence in design.

 

D&C Biotechnology’s URINE CHECK-ER addresses common issues in existing personal urine analyzers, while also introducing a precise remote medical consultation platform based on diagnostic device technology, thus surpassing the limitations of conventional personal urine analyzers. In addition, the U-CHECK app, developed to link URINE CHECK-ER’s diagnostic results with telemedicine services, enables integration with various healthcare devices to form a comprehensive health platform. This allows the device to offer valuable healthcare solutions for underserved communities and patients with chronic conditions requiring ongoing monitoring and care.
