‘New Excellent Technology’ (NET) Certification Awarded

D&C Biotechnology, a next-generation urine diagnostic solution medical device startup, announced on the 28th that it has received the ‘New Excellent Technology’ (NET) certification from the Ministry of Health and Welfare.

 

The NET certification is awarded to domestic health technologies that demonstrate excellence and commercial viability. The technology behind D&C Biotechnology’s urine testing device, featuring a flexible optical bio-sensor with a bendable test kit, addresses contamination and infection issues while enhancing convenience and safety for both healthcare providers and patients.

 

Recently, D&C Biotechnology’s urine diagnostic solution also won the CES Innovation Award for two consecutive years, further validating its global recognition for technological excellence.

 

The NET certification is valid from June 2024 through June 2027, providing various benefits such as NET mark usage, technical guidance, domestic and international quality certification support, financial assistance for technology development, and priority purchasing benefits from public institutions.

 

D&C Biotechnology CEO Seongsoo Park expressed, “This certification acknowledges the innovation and excellence of our technology,” adding, “We aim to promote Korea’s technology internationally and continue to lead the global medical device market with innovative solutions.”
