Final Selection for ‘2024 KOICA CTS SEED1’

DNC Biotechnology, which is developing a next-generation urine chemical analyzer to address the shortage of medical personnel, announced on the 7th that it has been selected for the ‘Innovative Technology Program (CTS) SEED1,’ hosted by the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA).

 

The program applies innovative ideas and technologies from entrepreneurs and startups to address challenges in development cooperation through ODA.

 

DNC’s ‘URINE CHECK-IT,’ a urine analyzer developed in-house, was selected for localization in Mongolia to solve medical personnel shortages.

 

DNC will receive support of 300 million KRW over two years for the product localization process in Mongolia and has signed MOUs with Mongolian institutions such as Mongolian National University, the National First Hospital of Mongolia, and New Medical University of Mongolia for collaboration on market development and joint research.

 

DNC aims to address the medical personnel shortage in Mongolia’s healthcare system and reduce health disparities in rural areas by aggregating urine test data. CEO Seongsoo Park emphasized the company’s commitment to improving healthcare in Mongolia by enhancing medical services and quality of life for the Mongolian population.
